Tina's first salon in America.
TinChik is Tina Frolova's salon — the first one she has opened in America. She documented the build-out post by post on Instagram: the empty room, the black slat walls, the sign going up, the first clients in the chair.
The room stays small on purpose. One stylist who does the cutting, the coloring, and the talking — and a feed full of regulars, kids, and first-timers laughing in her chair. Her own word for the cuts is «душевные» — soulful. It fits.
Men come for the fades, women come for the color, and most people come back because of how the hour feels.
